About Us

Last updated: 3 September 2026

TechGuruPlus.com is a free library of editable office documents and tools. It has been online since November 2016 and now holds more than 2,100 files — resumes and cover letters, business and HR letters, invoices and quotations, Excel and VBA files, certificates, Tally TDL add-ons, bank forms and free online calculators.

Every file is free to download. There is no signup, no email wall, no watermark and no trial. You open the file, replace the sample text with your own, and it is ready to print or send.

Why this site exists

Most people looking for an office document are not looking for an article about it. They need the file, and they need it now — a salary slip before payroll closes, a resume before an application deadline, a GST invoice before a client is billed.

What is usually on offer instead is a preview image behind a signup form, a watermarked PDF, or a “free” file that turns out to need a subscription. This site exists because that is a bad experience, and because building the file properly once means thousands of people never have to build it again.

How the site and the videos work together

Alongside this site I run the YouTube channel Business Excel, where I publish free tutorials on Excel and on the everyday software problems office staff run into.

The two are built to work together. When a video demonstrates a spreadsheet or a formula, the actual file used in that video is published here for download. You watch how it works, download the file, and then try the formulas yourself on real data rather than copying them by hand from a screen.

That is why many files on this site come with a video, and why many videos end here.

Who I am

Nazim Khan, founder of TechGuruPlus.com

I am Nazim Khan, the founder and editor of TechGuruPlus.com. I hold an MBA in Finance, and I spent over ten years working in accounts, finance and MIS — building reporting systems in Excel and Tally ERP, and automating the kind of repetitive document work that fills an office week.

That background is the reason this library looks the way it does. I did not start by researching which templates get searched for. I started with the documents I had already built, corrected and re-used dozens of times in real offices, because I knew where each one tends to go wrong.

Through the website and the YouTube channel I have trained more than 50,000 people online, and I have built Excel dashboards and reporting tools for Indian and international companies. Much of what I publish comes directly from questions asked by working professionals in those sessions.

How these files are made

I build and publish everything on this site myself. There is no content team and no bulk-uploaded pack of files bought from somewhere else.

Each template is built in Microsoft Word, Excel or PowerPoint, filled with realistic sample data, and checked in print preview before it goes live — so formulas calculate correctly, columns do not overflow, and the layout does not fall apart on the second page. Where software tools help me draft a layout faster, they are used, but every file is reviewed, corrected and finished by hand before publishing.

Files are revisited when something changes on the outside: a tax rule, a statutory format, a new Tally or Office version, or a shift in what recruiters expect from a resume. If you find a file that is out of date or wrong, tell me through the contact page and I will fix or withdraw it.

Templates for India and for everywhere else

The library is deliberately split in two.

The worldwide section holds formats with no country-specific fields — resumes, cover letters, business letters, invoices, spreadsheets and certificates that work the same wherever you are.

The India section holds files built around Indian rules and conventions: GST invoice formats, salary slips with PF and ESI columns, Tally ERP 9 and Tally Prime TDL add-ons, marriage biodata formats, NOC letters and Indian bank forms.

The site also carries USA and Canadian forms and Spanish-language CV formats, and that side of the library keeps growing.

If you want to learn properly

The YouTube videos are free and always will be. They are built to solve one problem at a time.

For people who want to learn a program end to end rather than in pieces, I run two paid courses:

Both include structured video lessons and practice files, and — the part that matters most — direct personal support from me. If you are stuck, we get on a call, and I can connect to your machine over AnyDesk and work through it with you. That is not something a recorded course alone can do, and it is why people who have watched the free videos for years still join.

Get in touch

If a template you need is not here, ask for it. Most requests are built and published within a week, and they stay free for everyone.

Write to me through the contact page or at nazim.khan09@gmail.com. Corrections, requests and questions all reach the same inbox, and I read them myself.
